Developed in 1997, the UHHS Bedford Medical Center Senior
Network
was developed to unite agencies serving seniors to allow for
the sharing of services and resources and providing a forum for
collaboration on behalf of senior services. The network has fostered
an innovative model for the area in which agencies and staff
who support senior programs need not work in isolation, independent
from each other. UHHS Bedford Medical Center is the organizational
sponsor and advocate for the development of the Senior Network
and provides hospital-related programs and services to the network,
as well as financial support.
