Bedford, OH The UHHS Bedford Medical
Center Senior Network is again hosting a vibrant, festive event to reach out to the
ever-expanding local senior population, offering information
on wellness and self-improvement. This year, that eventLooking
Good, Feeling Goodwill be held on Thursday, April 29 at Catered
Elegance, 1160 Broadway Avenue in Bedford. The event will begin
at Noon and conclude at 3 p.m.
The Looking Good, Feeling Good Spring Expo will include a light
lunch, a fashion show presented by Aurora Premium Outlets, a
skincare enhancement presentation and an opportunity for all
participants to win fabulous prizes that have been donated by
area organizations and companies. Ted Henry of News
Channel 5 will serve as Master of Ceremonies for this event. Over 300
participants are expected.
The event is geared to seniors from southeast Cuyahoga and northern
Portage and Summit Counties. The event is free of charge. However,
reservations are required since seating is limited.
Developed in 1997, the UHHS Bedford Medical
Center Senior Network unites agencies serving seniors. Currently, there are over 60
organizations and agencies that hold membership with the Senior
Network. The Senior Network fosters an innovative model for the
area where agencies and staff who support senior programs can
work together. Michael Demagall of Aurora Manor serves as the
Senior Network Board Chair. UHHS Bedford
Medical Center is the
organizational sponsor and advocate for the development of the
Senior Network and provides hospital-related programs and services,
as well as financial support.
